Through history the conviction and the practice was established that the recovery of the lost health or the treatment of any illness was only possible with the action of the empirical experience of the healer or, on a more modern epochs, in the application of the scientific knowledge of the Medical Doctor.

Nevertheless, among the classic conception of his interventions, in both cases, the healer and the doctor, fall in the almost exclusive treatment of the symptoms of the illness, which they relieve with a minor or major success but with a minor or major appearance of the so called side effects, that means, another illness that generally is more or so serious that that one treated.

 
 

The new medical investigation, are oriented to the search of the treatment of the cause of the illness; besides to the mitigation of the symptoms, it has established that the illness takes place because of a whole process of harmful acts that happened thru time and constitute habits and customs acquired by the patient, which define his style of life and which progressively carry him to a state of deterioration that ends in a clinical crisis of health.  The only opportunity for reverting this situation is found, obviously, in the change of the habits and customs that caused the illness, so that the responsibility of our health belong to each of us,  that

To gain this target, we will not  exclude the intervention either of the healers or  the doctors with their wisdom to treat the symptoms or effects of the illness. The control of the symptoms is important and in some cases it is not possible to postpone.
Consequently, we cannot exclude in the treatment of the illness neither the empirical intervention of the shaman nor the medical classic science. Only we place them in their correct dimension, that is to say, of temporary help at the level of the symptoms of the illness impossible to omit during the process of coming back to healthy customs of life and of advice, a task that turns out to be very hard to achieve.

They constitute the first group of customs that we must change, the most immediate to treat and explain; but not less complicated. Because the procedure of change does not consist of establishing a temporary diet that will act as a medicine while the illness last; but it is a matter of creating permanent habits among healthy concepts that lead to consume food that not only are appetizing; but also healthy.


After this intention, we enter a world of strong controversies and complications. The topic is complicated because behind every foodstuff that habitually we consume, there are our most expensive pleasures acquired since we were in the belly of our mothers; supported later by the culinary mastery developed through thousands of years of improving and sophistication. Not only this, but there are a whole series of industries whose capital of work is in the range of thousands of million of dollars each one, that also they prepare these products that fulfill the premise of being tasty to any cost, including of course our health. The meal in this way, has turned into an act of wild and blind pleasure.


The challenge consists in reverting the influence and mastery of all this strongly deeply rooted organization of the modern society to the service of our palates.

 
Ziolandina, has accumulated experience in the application of concepts very well defined as healthy feeding, to revert pathological pictures. In general terms we can say that the ideal system of feeding should be based on the consumption of only natural products, that is to say, those that the nature gave us and that the man cultivates among the strictly and respectful balance of the ecosystem.


Obviously we are referring to fruits and vegetables, leaving under a great interrogation sign the ingestion of meats and fish; but in any case the consumption of these products should be in a state as natural as possible and free of harmful additives used in the breeding of the animals or for the pollution of the waters where we extract the fishes. And besides, in quantities that are in relation with our need of proteins of animal origin, avoiding excesses that will produce a major damage than the absence of these proteins that the organism can recycle and even synthesize.


Depending on the state of the illness, a middling change in the system of feeding often is sufficient. For other cases more time is needed and major changes are required, that is to say, more close to the ideal system.  Ziolandina has elaborated basic procedures and recommendations, which we apply for every treatment to be followed, personalizing them for every particular case.

1.        If we consume food such as meats or processed products, these will be digested with an strong consumption of energy and in a major time (from 3 until 10 hours). The result is alarming: our organism after so much deployment of energy and time, end up accumulating degenerated substances in the shape of fat that bear great quantity of toxins  At a very high cost we accumulate fat and toxins.

 

Nevertheless,  when we consume natural products we use very little energy and the digestion is faster (10-30 minutes), and the result of this brief process of digestion is extremely efficient: the fruits and fresh vegetables provide to our organism of nutriments that are needed to realize a correct work in a rapid form and free of poisonous substances.

 

2.        All the components that we need to be nourished, are in the fruits and vegetables. Other products are culinary complements, and his consumption is highly settled in our conscience, some under the supposition of nutritional values. Others are simply pleasing to the palate or with a good publicity or both at the same time. Usually these are the most commercialized products.

 

3.        The industrial foodstuffs, all without exception, are harmful for the health, due to the fact that they were created with the only aim of covering the widest possible market without taking into consideration any prevention for the health. It is recommended to exclude all these products from our diet. it is a very difficult task and in the majority of the cases, the patient (and even the one that  is not), will require the assistance of a qualified professional.
